Computation for radiotherapy patient treatment planning requires high performance computing (HPC) resources, but it is is preferable for patients to be be treated as close to home as possible. Distributed treatment planning allows for planning to occur at HPC resources in metropolitan areas after which it can be distributed to regional clinics.
VeRSI will:
- design and develop an interface for treatment planning datasets
- design and develop a verification and review system for treatment planning
- build a user interface to view the radiotherapy treatment data
