DaRIS

Built on the digital asset management platform Mediaflux, DaRIS is a system which manages raw mainly neuroimaging data. It has been in use at the Neuroimaging Computational and Data Management Facility for the last three years  and routinely receives MR images from researchers, organising them into a subject-centric data model. It hosts over 70 mouse and human projects.

Together with the University of Melbourne and through funding from ANDS, VeRSI is part of a project to link this highly valuable data to the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC), developing a tool to harvest ANDS-compliant metadata and connect identifiers within DaRIS to ANDS persistent identifiers.
